You already know

something has

to change.

I know what that feels like.  I spent years following every rule, checking every box, and still wondering why it didn't feel like enough.  This is my story - and maybe a little bit of yours too.

"I can do whatever I want"

THE THOUGHT THAT

CHANGED EVERYTHING

ABOUT ASHLEY MIDDLETON

THE RULES I FOLLOWED

I know what it's like to follow all the rules
and still feel
lost.

I did everything right. Good grades. College degree. Corporate career. Rising leader. Benefits. From the outside, it looked like success. But on the inside, It felt like a costume I didn't chose.

For years I showed up for everyone else's definition of what my life was supposed to look like. People came to me for motivation, inspiration, clarity, & permission to want more.  All while I was asking myself the same questions they were:

What do I actually want? What would success look like if I got to define it?

THE PIVOT

The pivot didn't come the way I expected.

My gut was giving me the signs before my mind was ready.  I was navigating fertility challenges, early perimenopause and hormonal shifts that had me feeling like a stranger in my own body, all while showing up personally and professionally.  I decided to take a personal leave so I could begin finding my way back to the fun & light-hearted Ashley I knew I was.  â€‹

When I returned from leave, I made a decision to take my power back & pivot into Talent Acquisition and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion work because it aligned with my newly defined values.  It wasn't shortly after, that a corporate restructuring made a different decision for me...I was facing being laid off.

I had two options:  I could stay and do the work of 30 people at the same pay OR go back to something that was no longer aligned with What Matters Most.  Neither were an option.

Sunset Over Island

So I decided to take the severance package.  Standing on the other side of that decision, I realized...

"I can do whatever I want."

For someone who spent her entire life doing what was "realistic", that thought was revolutionary.  It challenged everything I thought I knew, but I had free will and was starting to wake up to it.  Honestly, I'm still waking up to it everyday, because this journey is ongoing.  I don't have it ALL figured out, but getting to build something that supports myself while making real impact on women like me? THAT feels like freedom.  And freedom was exactly what I was looking for.

THE TRUTH

I'd been preparing for this my whole life.

I grew up as the "good girl".  The rule follower and the one that did everything "right".  Like many of us, I internalized the message that doing this will lead me to "success" and going against it meant failure and disappointment.

But somewhere along the way in my leadership journey, I started slowly unsubscribing from that lie.  I watched people shrink themselves to fit expectations that were never theirs to carry.  So I became the leader who said:  YOU get to define what success means FOR YOU.

That belief didn't start with RADI8, it started with me doing the work on myself.  I learned that our joy isn't the reward at the end of the sacrifice - It's the foundation everything else is built upon.

"I'm still waking up to it.  This journey is ongoing.  I don't have it all figured out. But getting to build something that supports myself while making a real impact on women like?  That feels like freedom."

Inside Out. Not Outside In.

WHY RADI8 EXISTS

RADI8 exists because the world needs you fully lit.

RADI8 is a space for the ones who feel the tug.  Who know something is calling them forward.  The ones who are ready to stop performing a version of themselves that looks good on paper and start building a life that actually feels true.

This work is especially close to my heart for Black women who have spent years code-switching, shrinking and carrying spaces that were never designed to hold all of who they are.  For the former versions of Ashley that had to hide the fullest version of herself in order to grow in corporate spaces.  YOU DESERVE A PLACE WHERE YOU CAN TAKE THE MASK OFF.

When we do what lights us up from the inside, we can't help but shine that light outward.  That's what RADI8 means.

We shine first - so we can illuminate everything around us.

YOUR COACH

You don't need more time.
You need a guide who's already
walked this road.

Ashley Middleton is a Life & Leadership Coach and the founder of RADI8 Coaching & Development.  With over 20 years of corporate experience and 12 years in rising leader development, she brings a rare combination of organizational insight, evidence-based assessment tools, and the lived wisdom of someone who has stood at the very crossroads her clients are navigating.

Ashley's work is grounded in a simple but radical belief:  your joy is not the destination.  It's the starting point.  Through one-on-one coaching and group programs, she helps her clients get clear on who they actually are - not who they've been performing - and pivot powerfully into a life and career aligned with that truth.

I don't just teach this.  I've lived it and I will use my hindsight as your foresight to be the bridge between where you are and where you want to be.

You've been in the frame long enough.

It's time to see the full picture.  â€‹
